He is on the editorial board for Immigration Law Today and is a reviewer for Kurzban's Immigration Law Sourcebook. He has served as: Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association's Immigration, Naturalization, and Americanism Section; ABA General Practice Section, Immigration Committee; and AILA's New Jersey Chapter. He currently serves on the ABA's “Commission on Immigration” .
