Announcement

After 40 years of practicing law, a significant chapter of our professional journey is coming to a close. As we retire, we wish to express our sincere appreciation for the decades of collaboration with talented colleagues, partners, and clients from across the globe.
We have always believed that the purpose of life is to be useful, honorable, and compassionate—to truly make a difference. Throughout our careers, Kathleen Peregoy and I have been privileged to advocate, teach, and mentor.
As attorneys recognized nationwide for our work in family and employment-based immigration, we are ending our relationship with Connell Foley LLP. We are gratified to note that we have represented major employers in the transfer of critical personnel and secured permanent residence for the many achievers worldwide who came to the United States pursuing the American dream.
Our work has always been guided by a commitment to being useful and making a tangible difference. From lecturing nationwide to chairing over 50 conferences, our goal was to mentor the next generation and navigate the complex legal landscape for major employers and “dreamers” alike.
In these tumultuous times, we are reminded of John F. Kennedy’s words that, “Immigration is by definition a gesture of faith in social mobility. It is the expression in action of a positive belief in the possibility of a better life. It has thus contributed greatly to developing the spirit of personal betterment in American society and to strengthening the national confidence in change and the future.”
As we move into this next chapter, we reflect on the “gesture of faith” that immigration represents. Thank you for trusting us with your journeys and your challenges. The bonds we have formed will endure beyond the workplace, and we invite you to stay in touch.
Please note that we are unable to provide legal advice following our departure from the firm. For information on the status of your matters contact Connell Foley directly at 973-535-0500 or visit their website https://connellfoley.com
We will sincerely miss the challenge of helping clients like you. Wishing you all the very best in your future endeavors. May you achieve greatness and find fulfillment.
Sincerely,
Neil Dornbaum
